The Temple Garden Project was launched by the Lord Lieutenant of Hampshire Mrs Mary Fagan at a Groundbreaking Ceremony on Friday 16 February at 14:00 hours in Southampton. Invited guests included The Right Worshipful Mayor of Southampton, Councillor John Slade, the Chairman of Hampshire County Council, Councillor Mrs Patricia West, Members of the Temple Committee, representatives of Sparsholt College, the Probation Service and other dignitaries.
